My grandmother was one of Robert & Tabitha Vout's great-grandchildren. I have been researching our family history for about a year and a half, and would love to connect with anyone who may have additional info about Robert's parents (James & Jemima) or grandparents. Great job on the website!

Hi. My gggg grandfather was Reuben Rheuben born around 1780 in Whitechapel London, England. His son Abraham Rheuben was born around 1810 in Whitechapel London, England. Abraham married Rosetta (maiden name unknown). They had 11 children, all born Tasmania, one of whom (Louisa Rheuben) married Gustave Gabriel. Louisa and Gustave also had 11 children, one of whom (Alice Maud Gabriel) married Ernest Williams in Sydney in 1892. Their daughter Doris Gabrielle Williams married William Cuthbertson Beattie in Sydney in 1918. Their daughter Shirley Cuthbertson Beattie married Alan George Rutherford in 1946 in Sydney. Shirley and Alan (both deceased) are my parents. Any link to your Rheubens ? Regards Bronwyn

Hi Mike and Lucy,
Boy, that was just wonderful reading the latest websites, and so many families I knew of. I worked with a Larry Hodge at Canada Foundries in Brockville. My Aunt married a Frank Hammond from Brockville, but unfortunately she died at age 23. I will read this over and over, so many wonderful stories. Take care. Jennie and Mike |

Hello:
Just starting to find out more about the Tanney family. Not sure where to start. I do know that my father Maurice Tanney was born and raised in Pembroke, Ontario. If you have any information to pass along, I would appreciate it. Thanks |

Haven't read through this yet. My Father, Donald J Smith Sr. just sent it to me. He states that there is mention of Grenadier Island Ontario in this doc and that it mentions the names of the Hodges who lived (live) there. My wife and I have a cottage there and know the Hodges. I am very interested in learning about the connection of our families.

Dear Michael and Lucy,
Looks as if your search is going well. I am proud that you have gathered so many limbs to your fathers tree. I can't wait until you get started on your mother's tree. Those limbs will have to be mighty strong!! Your loving cousin, NoreenAHHHk |
